Santa is coming to Florida

Waylon just turned two in November and as we prepare for our trip to Florida, I am reminded of the magic Christmas and Santa bring. Santa, for some, isn’t real and that’s okay. As we learn who we are as a family, starting and keeping traditions is important to us. Santa, in our home, is going to be about the magic the season brings to us. He may not be real (and Waylon will learn that soon enough) but creating lasting magic, now that’s real and that’s the tradition we want to keep.

In our house, Santa brings ONE gift that Waylon has to do with one or both parents and stockings. Last year, Waylon got a model airplane that he and his dad put together as a team. It was fun to watch them work together as Waylon’s little mind worked to figure out how to get the plane together so he could play!

This year Santa is coming to Panama City Beach and dropping Waylon’s present off! It’s going to be so wonderful seeing his face Christmas morning when he finds his present from Santa, under the tree, at our family beach house - HOW did he know we were in Florida this year? Well…the magic, of course!
